I was really fascinated with the emotional aspect of this project. The idea of making a mask and having part of it showing what people see and the other part was what you really felt was inspiring. After watching the video of the kids hiding their feelings, I felt a connection. I didn’t realize that people my age would hide their true feelings from everyone else. I think a mask like this is a perfect representation on how people feel on the inside versus how they appear on the outside.
